His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, emphasized on Tuesday that the UAE continues to strengthen its status as a global economic hub, fueled by a robust partnership between the public and private sectors. This collaboration has positioned the UAE as a leader in sustainable economic growth and various key sectors.

During a meeting with dignitaries, investors, businessmen, and senior government officials at his Majlis in Zabeel Palace, Sheikh Mohammed credited this success to the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He praised Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed’s forward-thinking approach, which prioritizes human well-being, innovation, creativity, and prosperity within a dynamic framework that adapts to change, ensuring continued progress.

Sheikh Mohammed called for collective efforts from all sectors of society to drive the UAE’s comprehensive development and further cement its leadership in various fields. He emphasized that a strong partnership between the public and private sectors is essential for sustaining growth, achieving shared goals, and securing a prosperous future for future generations.

He noted that the UAE’s successful public-private collaboration has propelled the nation to the top of global competitiveness indices. These achievements align with the broader objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to place Dubai among the top three urban economies worldwide.

Sheikh Mohammed also highlighted the importance of continuously enhancing Dubai’s business environment by improving competitiveness and transparency, ensuring it remains a preferred destination for investors. He reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to being a model for a future-ready economy and a leading global and regional investment hub, with a key role in driving the digital economy.

He stressed the need to expand the digital economy, adopt advanced technologies, and strengthen Dubai’s digital infrastructure to boost the international competitiveness of local sectors.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed engaged with attendees on various topics related to Dubai’s development and the importance of public-private collaboration.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports and Emirates Airline; Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council; Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority; Sheikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated; along with other dignitaries, ministers, and directors general of Dubai’s government departments.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed attended a lecture by Dr. Amna Bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, titled "Plant the Emirates: Continuing the Legacy of Zayed.” The lecture discussed the national program ‘Plant the Emirates,’ launched by Sheikh Mohammed to continue the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who famously said, "Give me agriculture, and I will guarantee you civilization."
